Press Release: London, UK – 21st October 2025:base, the leading managed service provider and consultancy for cloud native media services, is delighted to announce its new hire of  VP of Sales (USA), Mark LaRosa, effective 1st October 2025. 

Mark is a veteran sales leader with over 20 years of experience driving growth for high-performance startups across SaaS, fintech, martech, HR tech, and real estate. He brings deep expertise in building repeatable sales frameworks and guiding organizations through the critical transition from early traction to scalable, sustainable revenue growth.  

Before joining base, Mark served as a fractional VP of Sales for dozens of venture-backed companies. In that role, he helped international startups establish their first U.S. sales presence and build high-performing teams around disciplined, data-driven go-to-market strategies. His track record includes collaborations with global brands such as FalconX, SightCall, Monetate, and Parsely. Mark’s senior leadership experience in driving revenue will play a key role in expanding base’s presence and accelerating growth in the U.S. market. 

As VP of Sales (USA), Mark will lead base’s U.S. commercial expansion as it scales operations to meet surging demand from digital content and technology leaders across North America. This strategic hire will help build on the strong existing performance in the region, with the United States currently accounting for 25% of base’s annual revenue. The company aims to increase that figure to 50% by 2027 as it expands its teams on both the East and West Coasts.
