Ben founded base in 2014, having previously run a post facility. He believed there was a better way to deliver media technology services and spearheaded cloud-based Integrated Online Media Solutions for borderless workflow Ben loves creating solutions, mentoring teams and building new and innovative companies.

Richard Pearce was an early-stage investor and NED at base and has supported the company’s growth for 8 years. A Qualified Accountant (ACMA) with 25 Years experience as a Finance Professional and GM in the engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors. Currently CFO for Earth-i, an earth observation and geospatial intelligence company.

Guy is a cloud infrastructure specialist, with over 20 years of experience in Broadcast, Media, and Cloud Systems Engineering. As Technical Director at base, Guy brings extensive experience in the implementation of best practices across cloud platform architecture, security processes and operating at scale. He is also passionate about mentoring, team building and leadership.

Leading the marketing division, Emily joined base in September 2021. Working closely with the sales team and partner ecosystem Emily is responsible for brand marketing, lead generation and digital marketing across the business. Emily has held various marketing positions in the sports, fast-moving consumer goods and SaaS industries.

Michael started his early career working in audio post-production for feature films at Pinewood Film Studios, UK. He has platform-wide expertise in post-production workflows, cloud storage, file transfer and media asset management solutions across the base solutions portfolio, working with clients including The Football Association, Narrative Entertainment and LADbible Group.

Zain has been working in broadcast and media for over 15 years, specialising in digital media workflows, analysis and delivering IT solutions. Zain is customer-focused and ensures the delivery of excellence and design solutions. Zain enjoys working as part of a team that solves problems in the digital media space, bringing together the right people, skillsets and technologies.

With a background in Media and Entertainment, Jack possesses extensive experience in developing services for Hollywood studio film and TV productions. Jack has gained a keen understanding of the significance and strategic benefits of delivering customer-centric solutions. Jack aims to provide unparalleled customer experience across base’s product stack.
