With the concern of climate change continuing to grow, it is more important than ever to consider aligning with more sustainable business practices. That is why here at base, we have developed and implemented an environmental statement that provides written context of our commitment to sustainability.
At base, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We will strive to improve our environmental practices over time and initiate additional projects and activities that will further reduce our impact on the environment.
Our commitment to the environment extends to our clients, our partners, our staff and the community in which we operate. We are committed to:
- Reduction in waste whenever possible.
- Designing, building and supporting cloud-native IT solutions with carbon-efficient cloud. hosting partners with published roadmaps for carbon neutrality.
- Conduct responsible tech recycling and participation in other recycling schemes.
- Move towards B Corp standards.
- Adherence to dpp Committed to Sustainability Programme.
- Train staff on sustainability and empower them to contribute and participate in best practices.
- Communicate our environmental commitment and efforts to respective parties.
Sustainability and our partners
To support our sustainability ambitions, we work proactively with all partners and suppliers to drive actionable progress on operational and day-to-day business practices. This includes consideration of pollution, sustainable resource use and consumption. Our partners must align with our ambitions to reduce emissions and create the most sustainable way of working to ensure a positive future for our planet. This is separate from the work we are doing listed above.
